EU to insist on safeguards on citizens' private details
The EU has stepped up the pace of talks with the US toward a new trans-Atlantic data agreement.
The move comes after the recent EU Court of Justice ruling which said an earlier pact allowed mass access by US spies on European citizens’ private details.
