Zoom recalls staff to office as firms turn off remote working

The video conferencing giant boomed because of lockdowns but the firm that became the flagship for the hybrid model has now asked employees to return in person

There was considerable bemusement last week at news that Zoom, the video conferencing solution which became synonymous with Covid lockdowns, has ordered employees back to work. But for anyone who has benefited from hybrid or remote working these past few years, it's no laughing matter.
