Zeus hits the ground running in Britain with its first acquisition

E-scooter company founded and led by Damian Young acquires Zwings as it looks to grow across the water

Micromobility company Zeus Scooters has made its first acquisition, buying Zwings, a British e-scooter sharing firm, in a cash-plus-equity deal.

Established by former banker Damian Young four years ago, Carlow-headquartered Zeus launched in Germany in 2020 and has since expanded to 42 cities.

With a fleet of more than 5,000 three-wheeled e-scooters, it has operations across Germany, Norway, Sweden, Croatia, Italy and Malaysia.
