VC funding rebound not on the cards as market sentiment sinks

An expected rebound in venture capital (VC) funding has failed to materialise and it could be some time before the market bounces back, according to Ian Sigalow, co-founder and partner at Greycroft, a leading US VC firm.

Speaking at Irish Start-Up Week NYC earlier this month, Sigalow warned that while there had been expectations that funding for start-ups would resume in the second half of 2023, this hasn’t happened.
