Immedis, a global payroll provider founded and owned by entrepreneur Terry Clune, has been acquired in a deal that values the company at close to €600 million.

Established in 2016 as a subsidiary of CluneTech, whose other companies include TransferMate, Taxback, Sprintax, Visa First and Benamic, Kilkenny-based Immedis provides multi-country payroll solutions to customers such as Uber, ServiceNow and Nutanix, across more than 150 countries and 120 currencies.
