Sure Valley lines up Irish fund as O’Keeffe is promoted to partner

The venture capital group is creating a multimillion-euro fund to back Irish tech start-ups, and its principal Isabella O’Keeffe was instrumental in launching a similar British fund

Sure Valley Ventures is near to a first close on a new multimillion-euro fund to back up to 20 early-stage Irish tech companies.

The venture capital fund, founded by entrepreneur Barry Downes, has also promoted principal Isabelle O’Keeffe to partner and head of origination after she played a key role in launching its £95 million British-focused fund, which was announced earlier this year.
