SuperNode secures €14m in funding from backers

Former Mainstream Renewable Power chairman Dr Eddie O'Connor and other shareholders in SuperNode have injected €14 million of additional funding into the company.

SuperNode is developing superconducting transmission technology to integrate renewable energy and properly connect markets.

Founded in 2018 by O’Connor and Mainstream, the company is now co-owned by O’Connor in partnership with Norwegian green investment group Aker Horizons.
