Siro surges ahead with revenues and connections on the rise

Broadband provider anticipates it will have passed 550,000 premises by the end of 2023 with an estimated 190,000 households connected to its network

ESB and Vodafone’s joint venture Siro, a wholesale broadband provider, reported a rise in revenues last year as the number of households and businesses using its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network increased.

Full-year losses widened to €26.7 million from €23.6 million due largely to the rise in expenditure, and inflationary factors.

Capital expenditure rose to €100.4 million in 2022 versus €60.9 million in 2021 as roll-out of the network continued.
