Northern Ireland tech deals hit a record £143.2m

Less than ten years ago, Northern Ireland registered only £5 million of venture capital investment into local companies in a year

Investment into tech firms in Northern Ireland hit a record high in 2023 with £143.2 million (€167 million) invested across 89 deals, according to new figures.

This compares to £139 million across 89 deals in 2022.

Less than ten years ago, Northern Ireland registered only £5 million of venture capital investment into local companies in a year.
