NeuroBell, a University Cork College spin-out, has raised €2.1 million from investors as it looks to go to market with a medical device to accurately detect seizures in newborn babies.
Founded by Dr Mark O’Sullivan, Dr Alison O’Shea and Colm Murphy, NeuroBell is aiming to address a gap in the availability and accuracy of technologies used to detect seizures in newborns admitted to neonatal intensive care units.
