Micron Agritech raises €2.7m from backers

Company has developed a rapid testing kit for farm animals that can reveal if they have parasites

Micron Agritech, a spin-out from Dublin Technological University, has raised €2.7 million in investment to bring total funding to date to €5 million.

The new investment has been led by Act Venture Capital, Atlantic Bridge and the State-backed agritech investor Yield Lab Europe, and comes just over a year after the start-up secured €1.5 million from backers.
