Irish staff at risk as Google slashes more roles
Google announces more layoffs in addition to the 12,000 roles cut earlier this year with 240 jobs lost in Dublin
Tech giant Google is laying off hundreds of staff across its global recruiting team with employees in Ireland believed to be among those affected by the decision.
Google confirmed the move with layoffs taking place across several countries. It declined to confirm what particular countries are impacted by the move however.
The redundancies were first reported by US media late last night.
