Irish-led Vitrolife acquires eFertility in potential €18 million deal

Vitrolife, an Irish-led provider of medical devices and genetic testing services, has acquired eFertily, a Dutch company, in a deal potentially worth up to €18 million.

The Swedish medtech, which is led by Bronwyn Brophy, is to pay out an initial €9.6 million for the firm, which provides software solutions for fertility clinics. In addition, there is an earn-out component structured over a three-year period with a maximum payout totalling €8.4 million.
