Irish-led Hadean raises $30m from backers including Epic Games

Dublin and London-listed Molten Ventures leads financing, with WeChat operator Tencent also participating in Series A round

Hadean, a company chaired by Irish tech veteran David Moran, has raised $30 million in a funding round.

The Series A round was led by Dublin- and London-listed Molten Ventures (formerly Draper Esprit). Other participants included Epic Games, the company behind the popular video game Fortnite, and Tencent, the Chinese investment holding company that operates WeChat and has stakes in firms that include the Irish digital food-ordering platform Flipdish.
