Sees.ai, an Irish-led, Boeing-backed tech firm, has become the first company in Britain to secure permission to fly drones remotely to inspect live overhead high voltage power lines.
The granting of permission by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seen as a major step forward towards Sees.ai’s goal of enabling safe operation of drone fleets at national scale.
