Irish IT reseller DataSolutions acquired in €15.4m deal

Climb Global, the Nasdaq-listed company which is buying DataSolutions, said it expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to earnings

DataSolutions, the Dublin-based IT reseller, has been acquired in a $16.3 million (€15.4 million) deal by Nasdaq-listed company Climb Global.

The company, which was founded in 1991, is led by Michael O’Hara and has 14 blue chip vendor partners, including Check Point and Citrix. It reported turnover of €126.5 million for the 12 months ending March 2023 with adjusted earning of €3.2 million. Data Solutions employs 35 people.
