Irish fintech Alt21 closes €21m funding round

Company formerly known as Assure Hedge is looking to expand into new markets and to licence its technology to other fintechs and banks

Alt21, the Irish fintech company previously known as Assure Hedge, has completed a $21 million (€19.4 million) funding round to support its next stage of growth.

Founded by Barry McCarthy in 2016 and now led by Pritesh Ruparel, the company has developed automated currency hedging solutions used primarily by SMEs.
