Irish Amazon subsidiary reports rise in pre-tax losses

One of Amazon’s key Irish subsidiaries reported a €29.7 million pre-tax loss last year as turnover jumped to €228.7 million.

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Ltd, which provides contract research and development services to group companies, recorded turnover of €179 million and losses amounting to €18.7 million for the same period a year earlier.
