A controversial tender for a €60 million public sector cloud computing procurement process has been cancelled after too few applications were submitted for it.

Big Tech companies had been heavily critical of the government’s plans to introduce a new centralised procurement process for cloud services. Some had called on the state to reconsider its proposals.
