Google sets AI tool Bard to work on Gmail and YouTube

ChatGPT rival Bard is to be employed across a range of Google’s services

Google said in a blog post on Tuesday however that the new features will let people look up flight information, map routes and watch relevant videos — all from one ongoing chat with Bard.

Google is putting its generative artificial intelligence directly into many of its most popular products, including Gmail, Maps and YouTube.

First released in February, Google’s Bard has lagged behind OpenAI’s ChatGPT as the company’s executives, facing scrutiny from regulators around the globe, have said they will not rush to release AI services.
