FreeNow bounces back from pandemic as revenues accelerate

Mobility service provider recorded a big increase in passengers and number of trips last year

FreeNow, the taxi-hailing service, reported a huge jump in pre-tax profits and revenues last year as it recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Newly filed accounts for the Irish arm of the Hamburg-headquartered mobility service provider, show turnover rose 73 per cent to €38.4 million last year, versus the €22 million it recorded in 2021. Pre-tax profits rose to €4.95 million versus €1.6 million in the prior year.
