The average cost of a data breach in an enterprise or large organisation has hit $4.35 million (€4.3 million) according to the latest IBM’s Cost of a Data Breach report. The IT giant investigated 537 breaches across large organisations for the study and found the average cost of a breach has risen by 13 per cent over the last two years.
