Cleantech firm Catagen secures further UK government funding

Catagen, a Belfast-based cleantech company, has secured £6.27 million (€7.29 million) in funding as part of a consortium that also includes Terex and WrightBus.

The funding is being provided by the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

This marks the second significant funding award Catagen has received in recent months from the British government, having secured £4.9 million in June to develop a biohydrogen reactor in its home city.
