Canadian firm acquires Kildare-based Odyssey in second Irish M&A deal

ATS, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, has acquired the IT solutions firm two years after buying fellow Irish firm CIM

ATS, a Canadian automation solutions company, has made its second Irish acquisition, snapping up Odyssey, a Kildare-based provider of compliant IT solutions, for an undisclosed sum.

The move comes two years after the Ontario-headquartered business acquired CIM, an industrial automation system integrator, for CAD$19.7 million (€13.3 million).

Founded in 2015 by Oisín Curran and Fionnán Friel, Odyssey provides digitalisation solutions for the life sciences industry, with a strong focus on computer system validation.
