Boxever co-founder appointed CEO of US tech firm Sitecore

Irishman Dave O’Flanagan, who co-founded data analytics company Boxever, has been confirmed as the new chief executive of the company that bought his firm three-years ago.

Sitecore, a San Francisco-headquartered customer experience software developer, bought Boxever for $156 million in March 2021. O’Flanagan, the Irish firm’s then chief executive, joined the US company as chief product officer following completion of the transaction.

O’Flanagan has been serving as CEO of Sitecore on an interim basis since last month after Steve Tzikakis departed the company after four years.
