Irish seafood development body is on a mission to turn Ireland into a leading player in the aquatech space

Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), the Irish seafood development body, plans to run a start-up programme to develop Ireland’s aquatech industry.

The state body, which is responsible for developing Ireland’s seafood industry, recently opened a call for tenders for operators of a programme that would include workshops and an accelerator for start-ups in the aquatech and aquaculture spaces.

Aquatech is about enabling more sustainable seafood farming through technology.
