Has Paddy Cosgrave returned as chief executive of Web Summit? It would be no surprise if the news is confirmed.
In fact as soon as his short-lived replacement stepped down in January, we heard that it had cleared the path for the co-founder and face of the tech events company to return.
Strangely though, getting confirmation is proving difficult given Web Summit’s many PR reps seem to have gone into hiding.
Employees were reportedly told on Friday that Cosgrave is returning to lead the company after resigning shortly before Web Summit’s flagship event in Lisbon in November following comments he made about Israel’s response to the Hamas attack on October 7.
