60th Young Scientist and Technology exhibition set to open

More than 1,100 participants aged between 12 and 19 years of age are set to unveil their STEM projects to the general public

The 60th BT Young Scientist and Technology exhibition begins on Wednesday with 1,100 participants set to unveil their groundbreaking projects.

President Michael D Higgins officially opens the event this afternoon with members of the public invited to attend the exhibition from Thursday to Saturday.

Located at the RDS Arena in Dublin, the exhibition is designed to raise schools’ engagement in the critical subjects of science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM).
