AMD’s Irish-born vice-president Ruth Cotter has said she is proud to oversee the company’s latest $135 million investment here, which was announced last week.

Ruth Cotter is one of the leading players in the tech sector in Silicon Valley having recently overseen the company’s $49 billion merger with Xilinx.
