Revolut Ireland chief: ‘We are far better than AIB, Bank of Ireland and PTSB’

“You’re going to think I’m awful cocky,” laughed Maurice Murphy, Revolut’s country lead for Ireland, “but we are far better [than the other Irish banks], genuinely.”

The incumbents to the banking sector, AIB, Bank of Ireland and PTSB, may be surprised to find that just nine years since its global launch Revolut is putting itself on an equal footing with them, but Murphy believes that position has been earned.
