Ding co-founder and chief executive Mark Roden, who is stepping down from the company he established after the sale of Esat Telecom

Mark Roden is to step down as chief executive of Ding, the mobile top-up platform he co-founded after 17 years, the company said on Wednesday.

Mark O’Donoghue, formerly chief executive of Inspired Schools Online, which provides full-time online education for children in over 100 countries, is to succeed Rodden as CEO. Also incoming is Duncan Tatton-Brown, who has been newly appointed as chairman of Ding’s board,.
