Ireland’s start-up ecosystem needs to forge greater ties with the country’s multinationals.

That’s according to the head of Galway-based innovation hub Platform94 who said there is still a gulf between tech start-ups and SMEs and the foreign investment giants that do business here.

Ollie Daniels heads up Platform94, which provides a work and innovation space for young companies in Galway and seeks to lure entrepreneurs to the west of Ireland.
