Take the long view at Adam’s year’s end sale

Adam’s Important Irish Art auction is the last major art sale of 2023 and Adam’s eighth auction of the year devoted to the visual arts.

This 133-lot evening sale, which takes place on December 6, contains some outstanding Irish landscapes from the 19th century, including Lot 29, A Clearing in a Forest with Figures on a Path by a Stream by James Arthur (€20,000-€30,000). Also, Lot 30: Figures by the Upper Lake and Ross Castle, Killarney which is guiding €10,000-€15,000, and Lot 4, an almost abstracted landscape by Basil Blackshaw titled Landscape (2) from 1966, (€15,000-€25,000).
