Period residence remains in character despite plenty of refurbishing

The pretty-as-a-picture Greenhall Lodge in Tinahely has all the charm and romance of a period property associated with lords and ladies of a bygone era. There’s even an empress included in its long history.

Built as a lady’s hunting lodge by Lord Fitzwilliam circa 1878, it formed part of the 85,000-acre Coolattin Estate, the largest single landholding in Co Wicklow at the time.
