Omniplex says new Drogheda cinema is 'top priority' after buying Scotch Hall centre

The property, which includes a partially constructed five-screen cinema, had been guiding €21 million

Scotch Hall Shopping Centre is located in the heart of Drogheda town centre and is anchored by Dunnes Stores

The Scotch Hall Shopping Centre in Drogheda has been sold to Omniplex Holdings ULC, the family run company run by director Paul Anderson, which owns the Omniplex cinema chain. The centre had been guiding €21 million.

The transaction, finalised before Christmas, will see the 23,658 square metre development, including a 629-space multi-storey car park, added to the extensive Omniplex property portfolio.
