Giugiaro’s Italian stallion
An automobile in need of no hype is the 1972 Maserati Boomerang coupé
designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Born into a family of artists, Giugiaro
attended the Turin Art School where in 1955 his car-design sketches were
noticed by Fiat, which hired the 17-year-old to work in the company’s
design office.
