An ageing 1950s-era property known locally as ‘German Flats’ has been imaginatively re-designed into a co-living development

Each of Abode’s 12 apartments incorporates an ‘eat-in’ kitchen

The 21st-century incarnation of the co-living concept has hit Killarney in Co Kerry in the guise of Abode, an avant-garde project incorporating some 12 retro-designed apartments in Aghadoe, which has just opened.

The developer is Kerry native Derek Twiss of Bond Street Investments, who previously worked in the development of co-living properties in Britain and Ireland.
