Donald Teskey RHA was born in 1956 and is a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design. He gained significant attention during the 1980s for his skill as a draughtsman. Since the 1990s, the artist has created a substantial body of work as a painter of land and seascape, the ruggedness of the western seaboard a central focus in recent years.
