There is no one answer as to why the bidding and buying process for a home in Ireland can be so frustratingly slow for all concerned. It can be down to people and process issues or just bad luck.

News that an expert group, part of the government’s Housing for All policy drive, is going to look at the process of buying a house, and the obstacles faced, is therefore welcome.
