Galway office market surges ahead of capital as rents rise

Although much smaller than Dublin, the City of the Tribes has shown stronger growth with vacancy rates half that of the capital

While much smaller than the Dublin market, Galway’s office market sector performance is more positive than that of the capital and rents have been rising in both Galway’s office and industrial markets.

That’s according to the latest quarterly report from Cushman & Wakefield.

By relative standards Galway’s office market performed strongly in the first nine months of 2023 with more than 18,300 square metres of space taken-up in 17 deals.
