Demand for nursing homes increasing as deals worth €440m completed last year

Demand for nursing homes and beds is increasing rapidly in Ireland thanks to decades of falling emigration, increased affluence along with improved health, longer life expectancy and an increased ageing population.

CBRE’s recent report, Ireland Irish Nursing Home Market Owners, Operators and Investment, shows that there were 18 nursing home deals last year worth €440 million thanks partly to European investors following European nursing home operators into the Irish market.
