Still motoring: Paris motor show returns after four-year hiatus

Major names such as VW and Mercedes may be absent from the 2022 event, but there is still plenty to excite, including displays by key Chinese manufacturers announcing their arrival into the European car market

In the motor industry, one of first events to fall due to the Covid-19 pandemic was the 2020 Geneva motor show, cancelled at the 11th hour by organisers that appeared to be more worried about the financial backlash than they were public health.
