The Porsche name has always been synonymous with sports cars. Yet, over the last two decades, the German brand has been churning out saloons and SUVs at a phenomenal rate, resulting in one of the industry's highest profit margins. Last year, it delivered 302,000 vehicles worldwide and, of those, its core sports cars – the Boxster, Cayman and 911 – accounted for just under 57,000 units.
