Warning that insurance bill for cancer survivors could have unintended consequences

Insurance Ireland warned the government that a bill to give cancer survivors equal access to insurance products could have “unintended consequences” and could restrict the availability of specified illness cover in Ireland, just days before the Minister for Finance stalled the legislation in the Seanad.
