Tánaiste says he always maintained that the allegations made against him were false
Leo Varadkar will not be prosecuted over his leaking of documents relating to a GP contract with the state, the Director of Public Prosecutions has decided.
In a statement made this evening, the Tánaiste said he had always maintained that the he had not broken the law and thanked his government colleagues and his family for standing by him during a “difficult period”.
