State asks GAA, IRFU and FAI to shelter Ukrainian refugees

The government is holding discussions with the GAA, IRFU, FAI and other sporting bodies as part of its scramble to source emergency accommodation for Ukrainian refugees, the Business Post has learned.
It comes as the Aviva Stadium was used last week to temporarily shelter around 100 refugees amid a worsening supply crisis.
