Sinn Féin’s wealth tax would be like ‘chasing your shadow’ - Michael McGrath

Michael McGrath said he could not see the wealth tax proposed by Sinn Féin being implemented as it would be like “chasing your shadow”.

The finance minister was speaking following comments by Pearse Doherty, the Sinn Féin finance spokesperson, who said last week that his party remained committed to implementing a 1 per cent wealth tax if elected.
