Sinn Féin success in the North helps drive support in the South
Support for the party is now almost the same as for the two largest government parties combined, while government parties have suffered a backlash against their reaction to anti-refugee protests
Sinn Féin has regained the very high levels of support it last saw during summer 2022. The party has seen support rise by three percentage points, securing it 34 per cent of the first preference vote.
