Simon Coveney reveals plan to offer tax breaks to firms in Budget ‘24

Minister for Enterprise says he and the Minister for Finance are considering a tax package to encourage Irish entrepreneurs to keep their companies rather than sell them off to multinationals

Simon Coveney has a key goal of developing more “Stripes” and “Kerry Groups” in his time as Minister for Enterprise.

He is not the first minister in the department to identify the need for domestic firms that can help reduce the over-reliance on multi-nationals in the Irish economy.
