Learners losing out on jobs and insurance rates

The Minister for Transport Shane Ross has come under fire for forcing learner drivers to wait up to seven months for a driving test.

The long delays mean that learners cannot take up jobs which require a driving licence, and are forced to keep paying higher insurance premiums for their provisional licences.
